Hi everyone,
this is very specific but I was wondering if anyone is an expert on metallurgy and could tell me if there are disadvantages to using austenitic stainless steels (explanation here).
I realize that there are two different series (200 and 300) but regardless of those, are there any properties they are lacking in? Or would you maybe even say that ferritic stainless steel is a better material? If so, please explain why! I'm doing research for an essay
